In 2004, Hoorand Khodro Diesel was established primarily as a bus and minibus manufacturer.

As we've grown and evolved, we've realized the importance of vehicle specialization to address different commercial and operational use cases. 

​

We are now proudly offering 21 types of vehicles, including, but not limited to:

  • Armored car for money transport

  • Campers and recreational vehicles

  • Ambulances and other emergency vehicles 

  • Executive and VIP vehicles

BOLD & ADVENTUROUS

2004

HOSACO IS FOUNDED

Sitra C-140, our first product, is unveiled. It sat 21 passengers, and was built atop Dong Feng and Navi Co. chassis.

2007

THE FIRST SHORT-WHEEL BASE SITRA

Sitra C-140S is released in a smaller form factor. Utilizing JAC's short-wheel base chassis, it sat 19 passengers.

BAHMAN ESHGHI
COO & Founder

Born in 1969, Bahman Eshghi holds a PhD in civil engineering from Iran's University of Science and Industry, in transport planning. 

​

His past and current positions include:

​

  • Director of Road and Traffic Safety Department of Iran's Transportation Ministry 

  • Former CEO, and shareholder, at Yavaran Khodro, MAN's sole representative in Iran

  • General Secretary of Tehran's Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture for three consecutive terms

  • Writer of +10 scientific articles on transportation planning and modeling  

  • Editor of Iran's Road Transport Handbook of Hazardous Materials
